My name is Faige Kobre creator of Educational Arts and Crafts for Kids.
I am a former preschool teacher and director and a graduate of the Bank Street School of Education in New York City. Bank Street is a leader in Progressive Early Childhood and Elementary Education
I developed my theory of Educational Art through the Bank Street philosophy which is a developmentally based approach.
In the past few years I have have spent time giving workshops to teachers on how to integrate developmentally appropriate art into their preschool curriculums and how to switch from from the typical traditional arts and crafts projects so prevalent in preschool classrooms all over the place.
Taking my past experiences and materials from workshop giving, teaching and directing, I have channeled my passion for progressive art or what I call into Educational Art into teaching not only teachers but parents of young children how to give children exciting, enriching developmentally appropriate art.
My goal is to bring the concepts of Educational Art to the most interested of parents and teachers of young children all over the world to help children grow into smarter more successful and productive human beings.
